Beverly Hills, CA – The Board of Directors of the Rodeo Drive Committee (RDC) announced today the election of Kathy Gohari, a fashion industry leader with decades of experience across global luxury retail, as president of the Rodeo Drive Committee effective July 1, 2025. Gohari, who returns for a third term, will steer the organization with a slate of new and returning Executive Committee officers. Together, they will steward the famed boulevard as it enters a transformative era of luxury retail, design innovation, and global attention with the cultural momentum building ahead of the 2026 Super Bowl, 2026 FIFA World Cup, and 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. Gohari’s newly-formed Executive Committee is composed of seasoned leaders and fresh voices. Newly-elected Vice President Houman Mahboubi and Vice President Risa Misawa join returning Vice President Kiersten Dunn, Vice President Chelle Kearney, Vice President and former RDC President Kay Monica Rose, and Treasurer and former RDC President Mark Tronstein. “My vision for Rodeo Drive is to honor its iconic heritage while propelling it into an exciting, new chapter,” said President Kathy Gohari. “With Mayor Sharona Nazarian’s leadership marking a transformative moment for Beverly Hills, I’m committed to sharing my experience and deep connection to this legendary street to help guide and inspire the next generation of leaders. Alongside our Executive Committee, dedicated members, and valued City partners, we will champion collaboration and continue shaping stories that captivate, connect, and keep Rodeo Drive at the forefront of global luxury.” A GLOBAL BEACON OF LUXURY, CULTURE, AND INNOVATION A bellwether for luxury and culture since its founding in the 1970s, Rodeo Drive is recognized today as one of the most sought-after luxury retail locations in the world. In parallel with work linked to the opening of the Wilshire/Rodeo metro station scheduled for 2026, the celebrated street is seeing a wave of boutique openings and reopenings, spotlighting its significance as a global platform for innovation and creativity and as home to landmark flagship stores that are making a tribute to exceptional design and architecture. Louis Vuitton’s latest Rodeo Drive flagship designed by architects Peter Marino and Frank Gehry, is now under construction and will open alongside newly-designed and renovated boutiques including Tory Burch and Givenchy, housed in Anderton Court, Frank Lloyd-Wright’s only retail space built in Southern California. Dior’s highly-anticipated boutique-rooftop restaurant-café project, which is in development but not expected to be completed before 2026, aims to bring together women's, men's and children's collections, leather goods, accessories, home decor, jewelry and shoes in a three three-story building with terraces. Among the fine jewelry brands housed on Rodeo Drive, Cartier, whose huge leopard has been displayed on the street in place of its future boutique, is developing a three-story, 45-feet tall, boutique with an outdoor terrace and VIP lounge along the perimeter, scheduled to open in 2027. Bulgari is rebuilding a new three-story boutique with a rooftop. David Yurman is undergoing renovation and will open this fall in a brand-new, and more intimate, residential-style setting, Patek Philippe opened its new 1,862 square-foot boutique with a rooftop garden and event spaces last month, and the very first Boucheron boutique is due to open late summer. At the entrance of Rodeo Drive and Wilshire Boulevard, Wilshire Rodeo Plaza, one of Southern California’s landmark retail and office buildings has been rebranded as One Rodeo with plans to upgrade and program the buildings to cater to luxury retail. “I am honored to be elected to the Rodeo Drive Committee’s Executive Board.” said Vice President Houman Mahboubi. “We are seeing a thrilling moment of transformation on the street despite global economic uncertainties and volatility. The ambitious developments on the street by major luxury brands reinforce Rodeo Drive’s allure and stability and signal long term confidence in its unparalleled offering. In the 70s when the Committee was founded, it claimed to have the highest concentration and diversity of luxury retail stores in the world - I am proud to say that claim still holds today.” “Rodeo Drive continues to be a standard bearer for luxury, culture and world-class real estate,” added Treasurer Mark Tronstein. “Our focus is on preserving its iconic status while driving thoughtful development, architectural excellence, and experiential innovation — ensuring it remains a premier destination for global brands and long-term investment.” “The scale of investment that leading luxury brands and fashion houses are making in Rodeo Drive is visible every day on the street,” added Vice President Kay Monica Rose. “We are building for the future – and the future is bright.” Rodeo Drive’s seamless blend of retail and hospitality is punctuated by its legendary hotels and first class and Michelin-starred dining establishments including the The Beverly Hills Hotel, Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel, Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura, and CUT by Wolfgang Puck. “Rodeo Drive sets the global standard for luxury hospitality. I’m delighted to serve on the Committee once again and champion the creation of unforgettable and bespoke experiences for our visitors,” said Vice President Kiersten Dunn. CULTURAL PROGRAMS AND WORLD CLASS EVENTS FOR THE YEAR AHEAD In partnership with the City of Beverly Hills and City partners, The Rodeo Drive Committee has curated a robust calendar of public programs and cultural activations for the year ahead, drawing local residents and international visitors to the celebrated 90210 zip code: The 30th Rodeo Drive Concours d’Elegance Father’s Day Car Show – June 15, 2025 Celebrating “Luxury in Motion,” this free Father’s Day event will feature rare hypercars, vintage classics, and exotic vehicles from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the sparkling “Street of Dreams”, presented by O’Gara Coach Beverly Hills. Rodeo Drive Celebrates Fashion – August 4–10, 2025 A bi-annual program spotlighting creativity in fashion. Rodeo Drive is not just about beautiful storefronts—we’re about how things are made, how dreams are born, and how we make people feel. That’s what sets us apart.” “Today, people are looking at brands as creators and curators of culture, said Vice President Chelle Kearney, “Our goal is to ensure Rodeo Drive remains a sought after and relevant cultural destination at the intersection of fashion, art and entertainment.” CONTINUING A LEGACY OF LEADERSHIP Co-founded in 1977 by Fred Hayman, known as the “Godfather of Rodeo Drive,” the Rodeo Drive Committee, comprised of leaders from top luxury brands and real estate, was originally envisioned to elevate the boulevard alongside the likes of Via Condotti, Bond Street, and Faubourg St-Honoré. Today, as Rodeo Drive positions itself at the forefront of global luxury and destination shopping, its continued evolution is guided by a commitment to heritage, craftsmanship, innovation, and cultural relevance. “Rodeo Drive is a global stage, and this moment calls for bold thinking and emotional connection,” said Gohari.
